Some Motivational Thoughts for 2015

Hello, everyone! It's been a decent amount of time since I've posted. I've been busy with school and seeing family, but I'm back and ready for the new year. I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season, and a happy new year! As 2015 approached, I was thinking of things that would be happening this year in my life and what things I want to change. I figured I would share some of them with you all.

Probably the biggest thing that will be occurring this year is the fact that I begin to look at colleges, where I'll be going to school starting Fall 2016. For those of you who don't know, I recently turned 17, so it's the age where all of these decisions need to be made. It's definitely a scary process to think about, especially with all the things that come along with it, but I'm extremely excited for it.

As a sidenote, I realized you all don't know much about me, so maybe I'll do a 'Get To Know Me' blogpost in the near future.

I also want to change my diet around more in 2015. Eat healthier, things that are better for my body. I feel like this is one of the most said goals for people when a new year begins. I've started doing it before 2015 started, but I want to continue it, be consistent, and cut out things that I know aren't doing me any good. Along with this, I want to learn a ton of new recipes, cook things I've never cooked, bake things I've never baked, and overall just be open to trying new things.

I plan on being consistent with this blog, even when I'm unable to do recaps of shows because they're on hiatus. I really enjoy writing, so I want to keep at it, talk about things going on in the world, and I've already got a few ideas for some posts, so I'm excited to put those together. I also want to continue to draw. Another thing I don't think I've ever mentioned is the fact that I draw and I absolutely love it. With school and other things, I find it hard to set aside time to really sit down and do this, but I want to dedicate a least some time each day to color something, sketch something, anything that has to do with art.

Overall, I want to continue being a happier person. I'm someone who's very positive and enjoy being happy. Of course, I have bad moods or times where I'm upset, but I try to be more optimistic rather than pessimistic. I encourage you all to do the same. Maybe your 2014 wasn't the greatest, maybe some things happened that you wish didn't. It's a new year. A chance to start fresh, meet new people, travel to new places. Be motivated. Do what you love, keep following your dreams, and don't let someone tell you you can't achieve them.

I hope you all have a fantastic year and I'll see you all with another post soon!
