Quick and Easy Back-to-School Makeup

Hello everyone! So this is my first post ever on this blog and I’m excited to share it. I figured that since the school year is approaching fairly quickly (unfortunately) I would share this tutorial through pictures with you. Even if you are not going to be a student, this is still a great neutral look for everyday.
To start out I took Maybelline’s Color Tattoo in Barely Branded and placed that all over my lid up to my brow bone.

I then placed Naked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette into my crease using a blending brush. This adds some warmth to the eye, as well as depth to the crease. It also creates a nice tone that our other colors can be blended into.

Using a mixture of Buck, Smog, and Darkhorse I placed these colors into my outer v, concentrating them in the outer crease. This does a nice drop of deepening the crease and adding even more depth than the color we used previously.

I used Virgin from Urban Decay’s Naked Palette to highlight my brow bone.

I lined my eyes using e.l.f.’s Cream Eyeliner in Black, but I did not add a wing to keep the time the look took short, since I tend to usually mess up on wings when I’m trying to go quick, haha. However, if you’ve got time, you can certainly do a wing!

Finally, I used Maybelline’s The Rocket Volumizing Mascara for my lashes to finish off the look and that’s it!

I hope you guys enjoyed this first post! I want to state that this is an idea for a look, not something you have to follow precisely unless this is the look you are going for. Feel free to add things, or even take them away, to make the look your own!
As for the rest of my face, I used e.l.f.’s blush from their Blush & Contouring Duo. For my lips, I used Mac’s Angelwhich is a ‘your lips but better color’ for me, so to say. Any nude lip color will work, and you can even use a pop of color for the lips if you would like, since the eyes are so neutral.
If you want to see anything specific, feel free to inbox me a request for a particular type of tutorial using certain colors, etc.! Also I do want to mention that I will also be doing book reviews and sports posts among other things.
xoxo Alexandra
